Why send your daughter to Camp?
Because Girl Scout summer camp is an experience like no other! Girl
Scout camp encourages girls to step beyond their boundaries, and
challenge themselves in a safe environment where every girl is
unique and special. Girl Scout summer camp is a place to discover
yourself, meet new friends, and gain courage, confidence, and character.

Dear Families,
We are very excited to share with you a special Girl Scout
tradition. Enjoyed by girls for nearly one hundred years, camping
encourages girls to step beyond their boundaries and challenge
themselves in a safe environment. At our Day and Resident camps,
girls are able to try new things, meet new friends, and gain
confidence and skills as they develop independence. At our camps,
every girl is appreciated for who she is.
Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council, Inc. offers camp
opportunities with a wide variety of program options throughout the
peninsula. Our experienced staff and volunteers challenge campers
while making them feel comfortable and welcome. The summer camp
experience holds a special place in all of our hearts, and we want
to share that with each girl. These camp memories will last a
lifetime.
All girls are welcome to our camps and are encouraged to bring along
a friend. So take a look at the following pages, see what programs
spark your interest, and get ready for another terrific summer!
See you in the great outdoors!
