Grades 2–3
Brownie Jam (Session 4A or 4B) MINI!
First-time camper? This one is for you. Your three days and two nights
will be jam packed with songs, games, swimming, campfires, and s’mores.
End your stay with a dance party jam! Cost: $175
Dancing Divas (Session 1)
Want to dance your way through camp? Learn cool new dances, make up
dance routines, and even put on a show for the rest of camp. Get your
groove on while earning the Dancercise Try-It. Cost: $350
Fairy Power (Session 7) NEW!
Do you wish you were a fairy that could fly around camp? Flutter into
Grove Point and make your wings, create your dress, give yourself a
fairy name, and go on a fairy night hike. The week won’t be complete
until you put on your very own fairy skit in costume! Cost: $350
Fireflies (Session 2A or 2B) MINI!
Come discover the nighttime world of Camp Grove Point. Stay up past
bedtime, have a pajama party, and tell silly stories around the
campfire. At this three day, two night program you’ll be sure to have
fun during a sleep-in breakfast in your unit! Cost: $175
Sea Horses (Session 5)
Come “sea” what all the fuss is about. Start off by exploring Camp Grove
Point’s beautiful beach and pool, and then take a one day trip to the
nearby stables for hands-on fun with some real horses. You get the best
of both worlds with this program! Cost: $365
Short Tails (Session 6A or 6B) MINI!
Want to learn more about the wonderful world of horses? Your two nights
and three days will be filled with lots of horse-related games, stories,
and skits. You will also take a one day trip to the nearby stables. Why
not come and “horse” around camp with us? Cost: $190
Zink Goes To Camp (Session 3) NEW!
What makes you special? Meet Zink, a special Zebra with spots instead of
stripes. Zink will share his message of compassion, respect, and
understanding while showing you all the fun things you can do at camp.

Go Wild (Session 3) NEW!
Are you ready to swing across the Alligator Pit? Think you can handle
the Mohawk Walk or get to the top of the Fidget Ladder? Experience the
challenge of Grove Point’s brand new Low Ropes Course and find out!

Grove Point Has Talent – Camper Style
(Session 4) NEW!
Lights! Camera! Action! Spend the week preparing to put on a camp-wide
talent show where you’re the star! Don’t like to be in the spotlight? Go
behind the scenes and get busy with costumes, scenery, and set design!
Cost: $350
Horse Fan (Session 5 or 6)
It’s time to saddle up! At the nearby stables you’ll groom, saddle, and
ride. Learn what it takes to be an equestrian. Those interested can earn
the Horse Fan badge. This program is for beginner to advanced riders.
Individualized lessons will accommodate all skill levels. Cost: $450
KOAST! (Session 2A, 2B, 3, 4, or 6) MINI!
Want all the best that Camp Grove Point has to offer? KOAST! (Kayaking,
Orienteering, Archery, Sailing, and Tie-dyeing) into this program! For
the girl who wants a little bit of everything and a whole lot more.
Cost: $350 (Session 3, 4 or 6), $175 (Sessions 2A or 2B) Sessions 2A and
2B will have a floating lunch instead of sailing.
Scrumptious (Session 7)
Learn the fine art of cooking outdoors. Create a menu in the beginning
of the week and cook what YOU want! Cake in a box oven, lasagna over an
open fire, mountain pie pizzas…the possibilities are endless! Take a
trip to a local organic farm to pick fresh foods for your creations!
Cost: $350
Shipwrecked (Session 1)
Legend has it that pirates used to roam Ordinary Point. Can you really
still see peg legs and hooked hands traveling down the dirt roads? Come
take a motorboat ride to Ordinary Point and find out during an overnight
campout on the haunted beach…
Cost: $350
Splash (Session 1, 5, or 7)
Splash on into Camp Grove Point for a wet and wonderful camp experience!
Swimming, boating, tubing, snorkeling, and beachcombing are sure to wet
your appetite for water fun. You will also get to take part in creating
a water carnival! Cost: $350
Grades 6–12
All That Dazzles (Session 2A) MINI!
Calling all teens interested in going for the Girl Scout Silver or Gold
Award! This three day, two night program is designed to help you earn
some of the prerequisites for your dazzling Girl Scouts awards. Enjoy
all that camp has to offer while getting a jump start on your Silver or
Gold. Cost: $175

Climb On (Session 3) IMPROVED!
Come experience the thrill of the climb! First, challenge yourself on
Camp Grove Point’s brand-new Low Ropes Course. Then, head south to
Tuckahoe State Park and spend a day on their climbing wall. You will
pitch your tents, stay overnight at Tuckahoe, and spend another day on
their high ropes course. Climb on by day and camp out by night! Cost:
$415
Conowingo Adventure (Session 4) NEW!
Have you ever wondered what goes on at other Girl Scout camps? Sign up
for this program and you’ll find out! Spend your first night of camp at
Grove Point team building with your new friends and preparing for your
adventure north to Girl Scout Camp Conowingo. While at Conowingo, you’ll
rock climb, be challenged on their high ropes course, and horseback ride
at their stables. After you have climbed in the trees and wrangled their
horses, you will head back to Grove Point just in time for Thursday
night’s campfire!
Cost: $375
Midnight Madness (Session 1 or 7)
Don’t want to go to bed at night? You don’t have to! Learn how to read
the stars, take a nighttime trust hike, and have an all night campfire
cookout. Still not ready for bed? Enjoy a late-night floating movie in
the pool. Cost: $350
More Than Meets the Eye (Session 1)
Ever wonder what it takes to make and sell your own jewelry? Talk with a
young professional who turned a hobby into something more. Then get a
hands-on lesson and make a few pieces of jewelry just for you. You will
also get to try your hand at screen printing, marbleizing your own
stationary, and turning a plain white t-shirt into the latest fashion
trend. Cost: $375
My Southern Vacation (Session 6) NEW!
Grades 8–12
Hit the beach on this week-long vacation down to Chincoteague and
Assateague Islands. Stop to shop along the way at Rehoboth Beach, try
your hand at sea kayaking, then explore the islands and watch the ponies
swim on your southern getaway! Cost: $450
River Runners I (Session 5)
Must be able to swim in deep water.
Paddle, pole, and roll! You’ll do all things kayak as you learn and
practice new skills on the river. Then, gear up and paddle out for an
overnight kayaking adventure! Cost: $350
River
Runners II (Session 6) NEW!
Pre-requisite: must have completed River Runners I.
This kayaking program will test your endurance, strength, and skill.
Refresh your skills during the first day so you are ready to head out of
camp. Spend three days on the Choptank River paddling with all your gear
and camping along the way.
Cost: $450
Rough Riders (Session 5 or 6)
Want to hang out at the barn all week? Horseback ride at stables just
minutes from Grove Point! Whether you are a beginner or experienced
rider, this program is for you. Girls will be given individualized
lessons based on their ability. You will also learn to care for and
expand your knowledge of horses.
Cost: $450
Swamp Thang (Session 2B or 4) MINI OPTION!
Want to kayak, sail, tube, AND swim? Do it all and still have time to
explore the swamplands of Camp Grove Point. If the waterfront is where
you want to hang, sign up for this one you swamp thang! Cost: $350

SWAPin’ Camps (Session 7) NEW!
Grades 6–9
Come and have double the fun this week as you get to experience two
camps, two sets of friends, and two different adventures. On Monday,
await the arrival of Girl Scout Camp Conowingo campers and get
water-logged while you kayak, sail, and beachcomb on the river. On
Wednesday, you will pack up with your new friends from our sister camp
and head to Conowingo to enjoy their ropes course, rock wall, and
horseback riding. Of course, you will get a chance to have a campfire,
do arts and crafts, nature and science activities, swim, and much more.
Cost: $375
Thrillers (Session 5) NEW!
The Acid River and Impossible Tower await you and the other Thrillers
who think they can master Grove Point’s brand new Low Ropes Course. Once
you have mastered the course, learn how to pitch a tent blindfolded and
start a one-match fire. Get your final thrills on a survivor overnight
at camp. Cost: $350
Wild Winds (Session 3) NEW!
Must be able to swim in deep water.
Sail! WINDSURF! Catch the breeze! Sail with a new friend in a Sunfish
sailboat and windsurf like you own the river. You’ll do more than catch
a breeze this week when you stargaze and sleep out on the sands of Grove
Point’s beach. Cost: $350
Leadership Opportunities -
Grades 9-12
Camp Aide (Session 1)
Grades 8–10
Can’t wait to be a CIT? Come take the Camp Aide program and get a behind
the scenes look at what it takes to be a counselor.
Participate in a
mini staff training, learn how camp runs, and teach and lead the younger
campers. Girls who participate in this program will earn their Program
Aide pin and after evaluation may be offered the opportunity to
volunteer later in the summer. Cost: $350
CIT I (Sessions 2-4)
Grades 11–12
This three week program gives girls who are interested in becoming camp
counselors the training they need, while still having fun at camp. Girls
will develop the following skills necessary to work with children in an
educational and outdoor setting: child development understanding, camp
program, leadership, teaching techniques, problem solving, and
communication. The first two weeks will focus on developing skills and
the last week will be spent gaining experience as an intern in a camper
unit. Girls will earn the CIT I pin and will have the option to be
interviewed and return as an official Junior Counselor! Cost: $675 This
is a three week program; participants must make arrangements to go home
over the weekends. The first week concludes on Thursday, July 3, 2008.
