TRY-athalon

TRY-athalon Start time 8 a.m.

Family Field Day 11a.m.

 

Girl Scout Service Unit 34 is hosting a race to benefit the Family Partnership Campaign. Compete in a Family Fun event that takes you on a 1 mile run through Camp Todd’s trails, a 3.5 mile bike around the camp, and a half mile canoe/kayak on Lake Williston. Following the TRY-athatlon, we will have a Family Field Day (Three-legged Race, Egg Race, Wheel Barrow Race, and More!) Download the flyer/registration form.

 

BUGS - Iron Hill Museum

Girl Scout Brownies (Grades 2–3)
Explore the world of insects through this interactive program while talking to an insect specialist. Make your own insect as well as an insect cocoon. Explore outside the museum and watch insects up close. Meet real live Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches! Have each girl bring a toilet paper tube.
WHEN: Saturday, June 15, 2013, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
WHERE: 1355 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702
COST: $ 8 per girl includes patch. No charge for 2 chaperones/leaders. Additional non-participants are $2 each.
NOTE: Min 10/Max 15

FASHION CAMP

WHO: GS Brownies, Juniors, and 6th grade Cadettes
(Seniors and Ambassadors can volunteer for school credit. Camp is for girls ages 7-13.)

WHEN/WHERE:

9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Before and after care also available.

July 17- August 16, Brandywine Town Center, 4050 Brandywine Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19803

July 15 – August 2, Wesley College Campus, 120 N. State Street, Dover Delaware 19901

COST: $165 per week.
