2012 National Young Women of Distinction


What is National Young Woman of Distinction?

A National Young Woman of Distinction (NYWOD) is the designation, and special honor, conferred by Girl Scouts of the USA on ten Girl Scout Gold Award recipients whose final projects demonstrated extraordinary leadership, had a measurable and sustainable impact, and address a local challenge that related to a national and/or global issue.

 

Who is elligible to apply for this honor?

Any Girl Scout who completed her Girl Scout Gold Award between July 1, 2010 and December 31, 2011.

 

When is the application deadline?

How do I apply?

Download the application packet here. Fill out the application being sure to include all the requested information. Applications MUST be submitted directly to GSCB, 501 S. College Ave., Newark, DE 19713; Attn: Renee Naughton.
